Over the course of the twenty-years that I have lived in Weston, I have had my share of problems with vendors who make promises that they don’t keep… inflate their prices… perform shoddy work… etc. I recently had an issue with my patio roof that was near collapse due to a rotten beam supporting its leading edge.

I dutifully went on Angie’s List and secured the names of four recommended vendors- all of whom inspected the problem and promised to get back to me with a bid within two days. Three of the four failed to respond at all.

However John Chase of Chase Roofing & Contracting responded with a bid the next day. He had engineered a creative solution at a very reasonable price. His employees showed up on time, performed the repairs in a professional manner and left the premises I a pristine condition.

Dear Mr. Chase:

I am writing to compliment you and your company for the outstanding work that was accomplished on two projects at my home this year.

First, I had the Stormwatch storm shutters manufactured and installed on the patio openings at the house. I deployed the shutters for a recent tropical storm as a test, and they fit perfectly and are easy to use.

More importantly, I had new tile roof installed which included many new features and updated codes. My wife and I are very pleased with the result, as well as the many benefits that were included in the project contract and price. I was impressed with the workmanship and ease of resolving minor project problems.

Finally, I submitted the windstorm mitigation engineering report you prepared, at no charge, to my insurance company and received a premium reduction of over $700.

So, the bottom line is that your recognition by Cooper City as an outstanding Company is well deserved, and I thank you for a job well done.

Chase Roofing has fixed numerous leaks in my roof over the years. They didn’t re-roof my roof, but they put this material all over the flat roof. The roof is very big, and has various levels, and they put a new substance on it, kind of painted it on and it dries into rubber, which has just been wonderful. They also put my hurricane shutters on probably 5 or 6 years ago. I would say I have a big amount of involvement with them.
